Rally Isle of Man Trip
I have managed to get a good deal for people wanting to come and visit the IOM for the rally in October.
The actual dates of the rally are 27th - 29th October (travel dates 27th - 30th)
Now the ferries run from Liverpool or Heysham at various times. i have also secured a geat hotel/country club to stay at whuch is 4* rating with plenty of parking and in a great environment.
MIR Web Site
Mount Murray
now the money bit...
These are based on 2 people sharing...
2 people traveling with a car, staying for 3 nights is £370 all in
single person and car, staying for 3 nights is £310 - so its better to find someone to come with....
Both include full Manx Breakfast
What i would do is to try and get some plates made for the 'tour' and include a programme which has stage maps etc.
I will also come up with a route for us to explore the islands no speed limit roads and or a few classic stages so you too can have a bit of fun with your scoob
Please make a list if you are intsrested and i will contact you regarding the booking ...

The palace isnt what i would call a good hotel, it depends on how you think its expensive ...i dont find being in the uk any cheaper other than petrol by 3p per ltr

Hotel was great, gym, pool, sauna, has it's own bar, casino. Food was great.
It was the isle of man itself that was a rip off
Do you know the cafe next to "the Italian job" restaurant?
2 ice creams
3 soft drinks
Chicken club sandwich with a side of chips
£27
Seemed to be the story no matter where we had something to eat
On the other hand weather was lovely and I wish I had took the car

yeah that restaurant is new, but the ice cream parlor is expensive as always everyone goes there.
agreed that is expensive... half the time its just knowing where to go. costa is the same 2 drinks and 2 paninis is £15
