Lightbulb RACELOGIC PERFORMANCE BOXES

I've been wanting one of these myself for a while

Very nice piece of kit

Thought we'd run a one-off Group Buy to get things rolling.

4 to 8 participants = 10% Discount
9+ participants = 15% Discount

Info:

How can we provide so many amazing functions for such a low price?

The answer is because PerformanceBox is based on the VBOX by Racelogic. The VBOX is used by almost every car manufacturer and tyre company in the world for testing.

Companies such as Ford, GM, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Nissan, Goodyear and Michelin, all use the VBOX in test and development.

- How fast does your car accelerate?
- How good are your lap-times?
- What g-force can you pull?
- How much power does your car produce?

PeformanceBox gives you the answers to these questions and more, in fact it is the only device to combine four products in one:

Performance Meter
Lap Timer
Data Logger
Power Calculator

PerformanceBox History

PerformanceBox is a version of DriftBox, which was launched in early 2006 to wide acclaim. Subsequent to this success it was decided that a version of DriftBox which does not include the yaw rate sensor, and which therefore cannot measure drift angle, would be a worthy addition to the Racelogic product range.

As a result we are now able to offer a comprehensive package of performance meter and data logger. In addition there is a vehicle power calculation mode, and accurate speed display which will also display Points of Interest.

How Does PerformanceBox Work?
Housed inside the PerformanceBox is a high performance 10Hz GPS engine, which measures Speed, Postion, Acceleration and Heading ten times a second.

PeformanceBox is equipped with an MMC/SD Flash memory card socket. This allows 10Hz logging of Time, Distance, Speed, Position, G-force, Lap Times, and Split Times.

Data logged to the MMC flash card can be analysed in detail using the PC software provided. For convenience, PerformanceBox can be connected to the USB port of a PC compatible computer to download information stored on the memory card.

They used these very boxes to time the 30-130mph and top speed event over the weekend at RAF Marham 30-130 Results

If I had one in time it would have saved queuing

Great device

Will get some vids up when I get a chance

Hi Ian,

Sure was

By the time I got around to coming over to see you though, it looked like you were just finding out the bad news, so I moved on with the view to catching you later on.

Spent most of the time running the car and not in the pit area, left quite early too.

I've got a freshly built STi7 Block here if you need.

Not sure how accurate the VI Monitor is, but it is a different type of product the the VBoxes.

VBoxes are used to time events (such as the one on the weekend) and used by magaizines to record performance figures.

The data logs are impressive where you can overlay your results with those of others and load track data also. I've been playing around with it today and it gives lots of useful info.

Am looking forward to getting mine and logging some 0-100mph and in gear times.

Last bump, if there is no interest I'll just get one myself.

They are really smart bits of kit.
