Default Group Buy on Wheel Spacers

I need some spacers to clear my new brakes.

Been in contact with Chris at CDF, and he has said to see what sort of interest there is.

These can be used to give the "aggressive look" which is getting popular

They are the hubcentric spacers so much better than the norm.

Sure Chris can explain better.

Custom hubcentric wheel spacers any size on eBay (end time 11-Jan-10 21:04:38 GMT) This is the product and is for 4 spacers

Get your name down if interested

Hi I have a couple of questions about these spacers;

- do they replace the existing hubs?
- how much do they space the wheels out by?
- what effect would they have when taking the car out on track, from my understanding a slightly wider car will result in more stability but slightly more understeer??

Thanks Iain

they bolt into your hubs mate. unlike cheaper spacers that just sit in between wheel and hub
The choice is yours i believe on spacing as its designed to your spec. I.e 5mm - 40mm

Cant answer question but wider normally means better handling but im sure Chirs can confirm

Benefits of wheel spacers:

Hubcentric wheel spaces will ...

Allow you to bolt on different pcd alloys on,

Fit smaller alloys to larger calipers,

Give the car a wider look,

reduces risk of rollover,

Give Better traction and cornering,

The ones in the photo below is 30mm I think ,is a setup for a 2002 wrx with ksport caliplers.

You can't see it but the where the bolts are sitting the alloy is milled out the hexagon shape, so when you do the bolt up it won't spin

Thanks Dave and Chris for the info

I am interested but I'm not sure what size would be best for me though, my car is an 05 wrx with standard calipers (with godspeed 335mm conversion on front) so no immediate need to clear bigger brakes (in future) so my initial reason is to make the car a bit wider, to make it look with my new lip and planned sideskirts?

thanks
Iain

I'd be intrested, i've just bought a set of Rota GTR's 18x8.5 100 x 5 pcd for my 02 wrx.

I'm probably going to fit them next week and see how they sit so i can see what size spacer i need/want for a even more aggresive look.

Just to check this kits will include extended studs as i'm pretty sure the OEM studs will be too short.

the studs are part of the spacer kit as pictured above. the spacer bolts onto your hub using existing studs on hub. then you bolt your wheel onto the spacer using the studs that come with the spacer.

if we get 5 then its 20% off the marked price on the ebay link
