seibon cf parts
I'm going to be getting a seibon cf bonnet for my classic, just wondered if there is enough interest in seibon cf parts to think about a gb.
i'll start a list and if there is a reasonable amount of interest i'll look into it

it will take a few weeks to organise this ,no doubt it will be sometime in january before there is enough interest and things are arranged, so if you are seriously interested in cf parts at the beggining of next year add your name to the list i started please.
to give you some idea of price, the best i've found is £490 for a classic sti6 oem style delivered and including vat, not a bad starting price at all,
thats without any discount for group buy

seibon do a few differant bonnets for the impreza ,if no particler one is stated i'll take that to meen oem style

OE Bonnet and bootlid for me.
Couple if questions though:
1 - I have seen many so-called carbon parts, but many have been low quality GRP with a carbon fibre skin. Are the Seibon genuine 100% carbon fibre?
2 - If yes to the above, what is the weight saving compared to the OE STi ally versions?

A. The "carbon fiber" material is just a piece of cloth. You can't make any shape out of it without some kind of support. We use fiberglass backing to construct the skeleton.
i'm not doing this to make any money , so for that reason i want it to be as easy as possible to sort out. i dont want to have to go through all the posts answering questions etc
if you are looking for seibon carbon fibre parts have a look on there site see what you want and then add it to the list
anything you want to know about seibon parts will be on there site ,if not there should be a phone number

i've got some prices, these can be had right now with no group buy discount.
93-07/08 (not hatchback)
oem style bonnets £490. all other styles £580 (most to be used with fmic)
93-05 bootlids £505
93-05 spoilers £350
99-01 p1 front lip £315
all prices include delivery and vat within the uk
not sure what discounts will be had through a gb, i'll find out when there is at least 5 interested
