PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Blades (AS Performance)
Hey all...
I missed the last group buy on these (by Frayz) so I thought I'd contact AS Performance and get me a set. Whilst on the phone to David, I did ask about setting up another Groupbuy for us Scoobynet lot. David (having spoken to Alyn) offered a groupbuy if we could get at least 12 people in....
At the moment... I just need people to let me know if they'd be interested in buying. David did state he'd be happy to give us the same price as before which was 17.5% off RRP. Once I get 12 definite people interested, I'll give David/Alyn another call to confirm and we're away....
Oh, and last time, I think Frayz managed 25 which bumped up the discount to 20%.... can't promise the same but I will try.....

Anyone tried the 'curved' wipers..?
Been using a std set of PIAA's for the last 4 yrs and they're still going strong, just thinking of buying a spare set and fancy the spoiler ones, just wondered what the 'curved' are like..?
Any idea how long they normally last..? If mine still have a few years in them then I may as well wait..
BTW there's an NF group buy via ASP (Alyn..
), which also another great deal..
You may even save a bit on P&P going for both..?

Right... quick update.... Just spoke to Alyn and he's clarified a few points.
1. The wiper prices are per blade... there was some confusion over this last time with some people expecting these to be sets.... Alyn asked me to just clarify this point again.
2. The discount is basically VAT free (17.5% off) if we can get at least 12 blades sold (or 6 pairs).
3. If you're looking for more than one pair, please add your name to the list twice (etc.)
4. Alyn can (and is willing to) order blades for other makes of vehicle, as long as PIAA make them and you're happy to wait a little longer) [<-----Skoobie Dhu]. Again put your name on the list and as soon as we hit twelve, give Alyn a call.
5. Postage (unfortunately) is £6.50 due to the weight of these blades. This was misquoted in the last GB but Alyn absorbed the cost. No can do this time. This is still Secure Next Day delivery tho...

IMHO don't go for carbon (I did last time) as it's not real carbon just carbon effect & not a good effect at that 
IMHO of course although I did buy a pair so can comment with authority!

IMHO don't go for carbon (I did last time) as it's not real carbon just carbon effect & not a good effect at that IMHO of course although I did buy a pair so can comment with authority!

Oh and Alyn said he'd be happy to order blades for any car... as long as PIAA make 'em.... and you'd still get the 17.5% discount on whatever they cost.
Best thing to do would probably be to call him and find out mate....
