Default HT Autos Bugeye *Plastic* Front Splitter Group Buy

I've been corresponding with Mark from HT Autos about the possibility of manufacturing a plastic version of the bugeye front splitter, as they currently only sell a GRP one; apparently the plastic ones are a little more flexible and forgiving.

Mark has told me that they're moving to larger premises very soon, and if we can generate enough interest, HT would consider manufacturing the bugeye mould.

Price would be £99 + P&P.

If you're interested in this, please add your name here and hopefully HT will sort us bugeye owners out.

I'd be interested in a Hawkeye Splitter MY06-07 if Mark will add them into the Group Buy

You can add me to the GB for a hawk eye splitter. What sort of installation do these require? can it be done DIY? Also, where could i get the STi badge to fit on the splitter?

It would look like the blobeye versions currently on the ht autos website Ricardo.

TBH though I think I'm going to abandon this GB as there's been surprisingly little interest; I'm guessing Mark would want at least 10-20 orders to make it worth his while making up a mould for the plastic version, and given that in 4 days, I've only had 3 people express interest in bugeye ones it doesn't look like it's going to happen

In regards to non group-buy ones, I've since seen on em ebay (from ht autos) for £89 under a buy it now or make an offer listing ( ), so you might be better off going to ht autos directly TBH.

Sorry to disappoint.

If it's a bugeye one mate it'll be GRP not plastic tho. Which was why I started the thread. Never mind anyhow - most bugeye owners must be happy with what they have

'twas fairly clear there's very little interest mate so I've gone ahead and shelled out for a UK300 one. The HT one would have been cheaper, but I'd have preferred a plastic version less prone to snapping.
