HT AUTOS Front Splitters group buy
I've had a fibreglass front splitter off Mark at HT AUTOS for quite a while now. It's done exactly what it said on the tin, it's black, it's stayed on the front of the car, and it looks damn fine!
However, not long after buying it, I did manage to hit a kerb
which was not good. Mark was kind enough to replace it, foc, and my lesson was duly learned. I want be parking as close to kerbs in the future.
(He doesn't normally offer a replacement if you trash yours, so don't ask! )
Anyway, I was happily going about my life when Mark calls me up out of the blue, all excited He's now got a new machine that makes his front splitters much better than ever before. So a trip over was planned.
After watching how one of these is put together, I could see for myself how much better the process was than old fibreglass. Then Mark passed a freshly made one to me.............................HOW BENDY!
The old fibreglass ones are very stiff, hence the reason they break if you kerb them, these new POLYURETHANE BLACK PLASTIC ones are so much more flexible, and by default, much more resistant to kerbing.
So, for evaluation purposes, and a bit of field testing, I've secured one of the first ones to come off the production line (thanks again Mark )
Here are a few pictures of it:
The ht autos logo, tastefully imprinted on the side spat
the full splitter on our front grass.
that side logo again, a bit arty this time
the full splitter again, on the rocks
Fitting was a doddle, once I'd taken the old one off. All holes line-up with the orginal holes on my MY03 STi. Mark supplied me with fitting bolts, but I used the ones that were already holding my old one on.
And here it is, all fitted and ready to do what the front splitter does best:
So, finally, to the prices
STi V-LTD FRONT SPLITTERS MY03 - 05 £99 INC VAT
P1 FRONT SPLITTERS MY99 - 00 £99 INC VAT
DELIVERY: UK £10, HIGHLANDS & ISLANDS/N.IRELAND £20
Mark is also working on STi winglets and fog covers made using the same process for newage cars. Check out the website for details of other products in the pipeline Welcome Page
This is a limited time offer, so don't delay, treat yourself for the summer

I went and picked mine up today. Fantastic quality and seemingly impossible to break ( it was bent in half infront of my eyes to prove this ) They are a snip at this price and are the only company making them in this material.

Typical, I wait and wait, give up and buy the geniune STi winglets and he goes and develops his own!
Really tempted by one of these though! Cracking price (excuse the pun )

This sounds good, need check my funds, I had a fibre glass one which the wife decided to ram into a few kerbs! Repaired numerous times until it was beyond repair! This sounds great, simillar to a genuine one?

When will you be doing your P1 pre-facelifted splitter
When are you planning to kerb this one then
Splitter does look the dog's
