I have spoke to Darren at ABW, He said that he can make some carbon fiber door cards if there is enough interest. It needs at least ten people who want them before he can make the moulds. They will be for the classic impreza, The price as of yet is unknown depending on how many people want them.

If you look at GRP and CARBON FIBRE motorsport products, specialist in subaru and mitsubishi There's some on there they will look pretty much the same.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the purpose of these - losing weight, or for their looks? I didn't think the original cards were that heavy, but looking at the pictures, I guess it means losing your ICE, so this is for those who want to race their scoob is it?

Na that fine mate it a good question. If you have aftermaket speakers You should be able to cut the hole out and fix them to the door cards. They do look nice and they will be lighter than standed but more importanly they will be 10 times stronger.

What do you do with your window controls?

The one's that will be made will look the same as the standard one just in carbon fiber. So they will have the slots for the window controls the only thing it won't have is a pocket. But something could be in the pipe line after the door cards have been made.

These sound good, but I don't think I can justify £400 for the lot (I'm not commenting on their value, just what I can afford). I'll be keeping an eye on the pics and prices though.

The shape of door cards & handles changed in the last year or two of the classics. Will these cards be the same shape as the earlier classic, or later? (the later classic had nicer handles).
