Default AP Brake kits

I've just started raising interest for AP brakes over on our RB320 club site but thought I'd extend it over here as the prices are very good.

About the product:
Calipers
All Performance Road Brake Calipers use conventional seals in conjunction with a dirt seal and are finished with a black PTFE based paint coating which is impervious to normal brake fluids & high brake temperatures, with the AP Racing logo highlighted in yellow, or gloss red with the logo highlighted in white.
Mounting Brackets
All brackets are individually designed for each application in either hard anodised aluminium or steel.
Mounting Bells
The bells are lightweight aluminium alloy, and hard anodised for durability. Each mounting bell is specifically designed for the application.
Brake Discs
The discs used in the AP Racing brake kits have been selected from our extensive race proven range which are synonymous with performance & quality throughout the racing world.
Sizes Ø285 (11.22") to Ø362mm (14.25") x 25.4mm (1.0") to 36mm (1.4") thick.
Brake Pads
Almost all AP Racing brake kits come complete with Ferodo DS2500 pads. These are ideally suited for all round performance road use. We can advise on, or specify and supply alternative pads specifically for track days.
Brake Hose
In most cases the appropriate Goodridge TUV approved steel braided hoses with nylon armour protection are supplied with each kit.
IMPORTANT NOTE - ROAD APPROVAL FOR BRAKE HOSES
In order to meet the requirements of the TUV, the FMVSS106, SVA and SAE 1401 standards for brake lines for road going vehicles, all fittings must be permanently attached to the hose.
RE-USABLE OR THREADED ATTACHED FITTINGS MAY NOT BE USED. ALL FITTINGS MUST BE CRIMPED OR SWAGED TO THE HOSE WHETHER THE HOSE IS RUBBER OR BRAIDED STEEL.
All Goodridge factory manufactured brake line kits are crimped and meet the requirements of the DOT and SAE. For full TUV approval, lines must pass a series of tests and be assembled in an approved assembly unit that meets all the requirements of the TUV office, including traceability. Consult the braided steel brake line experts 'Goodridge', if you are in any doubt on 01392 369090.
Fixings
Each kit contains a comprehensive installation guide and list of tightening torques. All mounting bolts & nuts are of high tensile steel and come with a sachet of Loctite 262. Shim washers are supplied in each kit to allow accurate positioning of the caliper on the brake disc, and allow for tolerance variations in different hubs/uprights.
Brake Fluid
All kits have 2 bottles of AP Racing Formula Dot 5.1 Brake & Clutch Fluid included.

The price shown below are for a setup on the MY06/07 Impreza STI but if you are interested, please add your name down on the list with your spec of car and the disc size, kit you want (i.e. front only, 330mm)

JUST TO ADD, AS I CANT AMEND THE TITLE - OPEN TO ALL MODELS OF IMPREZA's

AP Racing 6 pot caliper, 356mm disc (front) / 4 pot caliper ,335mm disc (rear) & braided hoses, Ferrodo DS2500 pads.

Got an email from the supplier earlier
Getting a few calls re I’ve got these wheels & so on, will they fit. I can’t say for all wheels though AP’s website has a great link at: Brake Kits, Brake Calipers, Brake Discs, Brake Fluid, Pads, Clutches from AP Racing

Then people can measure there own wheel sizes

and prices for the 330mm front kit setup:
330 AP kit these retail at £1683.40 plus vat

If we get 10 330mm kits or more then we can do these at £1430.89 plus vat

AP bells come with both 5x100 PCD and 5x114.3 PCD holes drilled so these kits are not 'exclusively' for MY06 cars.

Here are two quick pics of my AP's. As you can see, both PCD's are catered for. Hope this helps mate.

Front 355mm disc, 6 pot caliper

Rear 335mm disc, 4 pot caliper

I believe the bells are drilled for both 100 PCD and 114.3 PCD.

I would be interested in the 355 kit but i will need new wheels for them to fit but a good price

A novice question. Why are 330 kits more expensive than 355 kits?

Some recon it's because the CP7040 6 pot is inferior whilst others say it's because Aston Martin use the same setup and therefore have payed for a lot of the development costs..

I'm getting some Ap 4 pots/330mm fitted (this week hopefully..) mainly as I want to keep the unsprung weight down to a minimum and apparently there ain't much difference..

If the CP7040 is inferior then which caliper does the 6 pot 330 kit use to justify the extra pounds
