NEW HELLA TWIN SUPERTONE HORN KIT
Perhaps it is a good time before Christmas for another group buy on the Hella Super Horns!! I am currently looking at suppliers and believe that I can get these for 50 pounds per set, but would need ten people for a group buy on these, please let me know who would be interested?

i'm interested, but do they sound better than the current horns i have on my classic? as at present when i need to sound my horns i'd rather stick my **** out the window as it'll get more attention than the crap gay sounding horn that all classic's seem to have!!!!!!! members who own these horns, shall i go for it or find a way to install train horns like my friend has on his lorry?

The horns on your Classic are the same as on the New Age and yes, you might as well wave a rainbow flag out the window everytime you sound them coz they do tell the world that you are gay!
For £40 I strongly advise you get a set of these on your motor! They sound decent and you wont be disappointed... get the lorry horns or air horns if you are still 17, but if you fancy a more tasteful way of saying, "you stupid tw@t why did you pull out infront of me?!" ...get these Hella bad boys!

If you siv thru the GB forum you'll find an old GB on these horns and somewhere in there a guy has put up a sound bite/vid... good luck finding it tho, it took me ages when I did last time.
Only thing I'll advise ppl of is when wiring up and following the relay instructions... they wont work! Sumin about the Amerian style wiring on American Scoobys being different.
If you look at the actual relay on the top of it it has a little diagram of how to wire up the switch etc... follow that and test for earths and you'll be alright...
...actually it wasnt easy and I needed a proper wire tester and the help of my dad... if anyone is fitting these gimme a shout and I'll tell you how to wire the relay up!

Surely the original horns are through a relay anyway. Aren't they ?
Isn't just attaching them to the original wiring ok ?

The original horns do have a relay thats correct, but these horns need yet another relay and also a direct feed of the battery.

One thing I will say is that the power steering cooling pipe is located where you'd put one of the horns... just undo the screw holding this to the centre metal 'thingy' and pull it down... with a metal bracket (strip of metal with holes in) re locate and secure further down.
