I've still got a supply of engine oil after buying in bulk from a previous group buy of yours, but I do need some gear oil. Is switching to fully synth gear oil going to be ok after 70k miles with semi-synth (Castrol Syntrax)? Cars are 98 Impreza 2.0GL and 95 Impreza 1.6GL, both with dual-range manual 'boxes and AWD (so I need 4.8L for each car).

If I can get in on the GB without buying engine oil, I'll have:

1. scoobyster - Silktran SYN5 75W90 - 10L

There should be no issue switching from semi to fully.

The only real difference is viscosity, the Pro R does have a few other additives in it that also makes it suitable for classic and some vintage applications.

As for gearbox and LSD there is plenty to choose from, did you drop me a mail?

Cheers

Guy.
