Default Hayward & Scott Group Buy

Hi,

After finding out I needed some new exhaust parts for my scooby I got in contact with Hayward and Scott and have been able to arrange a group buy thanks to Ian.

This group buy will run till the end of Jan to allow you all to get another payday in after xmas or just treat yourself to a belated xmas gift.

All prices are plus fitting or delivery unless stated. Please post name and required items plus state for newage or classic. Then at the end of Jan you can contact HandS to pay for your item/s and arrange delivery or fitting once numbers have been finalised.

Original Scooby Design Back Box

5+ = £195-00 + Vat

Jap Style 4.5inch Back Box

5+ = £180-00 + Vat

De-Cat Down Pipe

10+ = £135-00 + Vat

Catted Down Pipe

1+ = £475-00 + Vat (free fitting)

5+ = £425-00 + Vat

10+ = £375-00 + Vat

Equal Length Headers

1+ = £550-00 + Vat

5+ = £475-00 + Vat

Think that's about it. Any questions please ask.

Cheers,Matt

That sort it out a bit better?

I might be interested in the de-cat down pipe for a new age and also do you think they'd do a price on the "New Age cat pipe". All part of my step by step cat less master plan.

Cheers for that. For some reason my computer would sort the spacing.

I can ask about the cat pipe for you. I'll let you know.

Thanks,

Matt.

Matt.

Do the 5+ and 10+ prices for the sports cat down pipe also include free fitting, or is that just for the single purchases?

Cheers,

Paul.

big scoob - I think that the downpipes will fit unless there is something very different about it. I'll check with Ian to confirm for you though.

New scooby 04 - I'm sure they will but will double check with Ian for you.

Mark Champion - I'll check and let you know.

Oh, Matt, you might want to get a price for the centre sports cat pipe too, as some may prefer to go this route to the DP.

All the best,

Paul

This resonator replacement centre section, is that different from the centre pipe on the website?

I've got a MY05 WRX and tt is possibly my intention now to remove the centre cat + upgrade the centre pipe and leave the downpipe and uppipe until later in the spring.

I may aswell start geting the bits whilst the price is good. I've already got the jap style backbox, had that for about 6 months now and I love it.

as far as i am aware it's the same. some people say that the centre section cat is more of a resonator and not a cat. i've read that you'll get a bigger power increase by changing the downpipe rather than the centre. how true this is i don't know. as you say prices are good and gb will be on till end of jan

The trouble with doing the centre pipe sports cat is that you have to get it extremely hot to get the a emissison test due to the ditance down the system that the cat is placed,we always recommend doing the down pipe cat if funds allow as this will pass without a problem. The power loss over a de-cat down pipe is only approx 2 BHP.

OK. Cheeky request time then. If I was prepared to pay a deposit of say £50.00, could I pay the balance in March and have the headers delivered then?

Also, I can't see any reference to a sports cat or am I being thick?

Right, so if I get this long centre pipe that's basically the standard centre pipe + cat pipe replacement all in one?

No we make all our parts interchangable with the standard parts, you would need bith parts .....the small front centre( cat pipe ) and the long rear centre.

Thanks for that Ian, is there any difference in turbo spool up or noise with the sports cat DP for a classic? I do like the sound of a Decat'd scooby!

And do the GB discounts ont he Decat DP's also include free fitting?

Thanks,

Paul

There will be a slighty quieter sound with a catted down pipe and the spool up difference will be hardly noticable.

Ian

P.S. We will be off soon for the Christmas break so everybody enjoy Christmas and have a happy New Year and we will speak in the next year.

Oh so what's the difference between the resonator replacement long centre section and the Subaru Impreza New Age centre pipe on your website?

The resonated centre has a silencer and the one on the website doesn't.

And now the penny drops! Thanks Ian. Still a bit slow when it comes to exhausts.

Think I'll be putting a side a few notes for the centre + cat pipe then.
