Default STi8 Bonnet Scoops for Classic & Bugeye

Look here for product details from the Milsport website

Replica STi8 bonnet scoops for Classics (MY97-MY00 and MY92-MY96) and for the Bugeye shape (MY01-MY02). I have heard from several sources that these are the best you can get. Made in high quality GRP with a gel coat finish and are ready to paint. Normal retail price is £176.25
As well as being a larger, more aggressive looking scoop, they can actually reduce intake temperature by as much as 18 degrees C. That's a lot and will help to improve the performance of your Scooby. I also plan future waterspray and an STi8 intercooler for my P1 - which should help to release big power gains.

I have been in touch with the owner of Milsport and he is prepared to offer a Group buy deal as follows: -

10+ = 10% discount = £158.63 Saving £17.62
20+ = 20% discount = £141.00 Saving £35.25
Plus £10 for p+p for next day delivery.

Now I'm always on the look out for a bargain and I think you will agree that £141 is a very good price. So I'm hoping for 20+ to take up this offer.

Below is what it would look like on a P1 - very nice I think.

Please add your name to this thread if you are interested and state which model your after (92-96, 97-00 or 01-02). This Group Buy applies to the I/C scoop only - not any other scoops or products you see on the Milsport website.

List to date of those interested.

1. Terryb (97-00)
2. Buffer Dude(97-00)
3. Wavey RA(92-96)
4. Cyprus Scooby(97-00)
5. Krusty the Clown
6. Stig(01-02)
7. Ormiboy

Any more interested in this??

Cheers

The DRMotorsport scoops are different to the Miltek ones. The Miltek items are the exact dimensions of the real thing. As the STi8 scoop is larger than the hole on the Classic bonnets, the excess fits on the bonnet around the hole (but use the original mounting points). The DRM items are made to fit the original hole so they are not as wide or deep but are very tall so don't look right....for example:

Vs my Miltek scoop:

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the DRM items, just they are a different product, hence a different price.

Thanks for your input here - nice to be able to compare the 2 items from your photo's.

As you say - nothing against the DR Motorsport item, but it certainly doesn't look as good as the Milltek one.

Cheers

Sorry for delay to your answers. VAT is included in price.

Timescale - when funds are received by Milsport - they can arrange next day delivery - but due to limited stock and time to manufacture - they couldn't process 10+ orders all on the same day.

Hi guys,

I would like to point out that you can get the real thing from these guys who i have used in the past and give out really good parts.

http://www.ets-racing.co.uk/

The reason the two scoops look different is because on is on the Smooth (96-98) bonnet where the existing hole is smaller and the other is on the curved (97-00) bonnet. You can purchase both of which from ETS racing.

Sorry for putting any cold water on Milltek's product but they seem to be asking a little too much for a fairly small piece of GRP plastic scoop action!!

All the best,

Chris.

ps. if they can supply one in Carbon Fibre finish i will take one as i have a Carbon Fibre bonnet.
