Intercooler skoops are approx 25% bigger than standard.

All skoops (intercooler and mini vent) bolt straight into original holes in bonnet, though the front holes on the mini vent skoops are buggers to get a bolt into so I usually use a cable tie (or you can slot the hole and slide in the original "T" headed bolt).

All skoops are supplied unpainted.

P&P will need to be added if skoops are to be posted. Usually £6 for mini skoops and £10 for intercooler (next day Royal Mail Special Delivery).

I've stuck a link in this thread. Just to clarify i'm not interested in one of Stuarts mini-scoops, in complete honesty i prefer the design of one of the ETS ones. Sorry if i inadvertantly got hopes up.

I may have a MY97-00 G/F scoop but not decided yet. Need to consider functionality and funds a little more...

Interested in these "MY93-96 Mini Glassfibre £60 £50 £45" is this price for a pair or per side?

If its per side and I order a pair is that two towards the group price of 5+ and is it £6 for each for P&P

Many Thanks

Anthony

"CABLE TIE'S", can you not make them so you can fit bolt's,there's quite a bit of force on the scoop, don't they snap

you need 10+ to get them for £45 then add £6 p+p = £51 ,not really saving much ?

Yer but thats still a saving of 25% who else gives that sort of discount and IMHO these are the best quality on the market

The retail price you are quoting does not include P&P, whereas the discounted one you quoted does! So £66 plays £51 on a level playing field, that equals roughly 25% discount. Personally I don't think that that is a bad offer P&P could be reduced, but I always use Special Delivery, cos it's signed for and insured.

cheer's Redkop & gossy but being a group buy i thought by buying in number's ment you would make a real saving in pound note's and also you can buy these type's of scoop's from DR Motorsport's painted for near enough this price not 5+ or 10+ but for one,i'm just trying to show that this might not be as good as you make out that's all as your not saving much,

so cheer's you two, next time if i see anything on here that doesn't add up i'll just keep quite shall i,
NO,I won't it's MY option thank's ,

DJ73 this is not the first time you have a go at the scoops. This is why i asked you to stop.

DJ73 I wish you would make comparisons with the same products. You cannot buy THESE skoops for DR Motorsport so it doesn't matter how much they charge, they are different. 25% saving over retail price (or £15) I think is worth saving. Saying that retail is £60 and comparing with a delivered price of £51 is misleading to say the least. Also in previous threads you have mentioned that the skoops are "flimsy". how you can tell that from a photo is beyond me, and as the one in question was made from carbonfibre they are hardly flimsy.

Your opinion is just that, your opinion, and you are entitled to voice it, but please get your facts straight first.

This GB is all about savings on this particular product. As far as I am aware there are very few people offering mini skoops or larger intercooler skoops for the classic shape car in carbonfibre either.

Stuart
I had a look at the other post but was wondering if you had any more pictures of the pre 97 intercooler scoop, from a bit further away from the car if possible??
