DEFI LINK POD and GUAGES group Buy???
Have obtained a price from a uk supplier for Defi link system inc 3 guages, POD and Defi Controller.
The cost if we can get 10 buyers is £605-£615 + postage (estimated at £20)
The vaiance in the price is because of Jap excahnge rate. depending upon rate on day of order by them
Delivery will be within 5 working days of GB being complete. I have been after this set up for ages and not sourced any at right money yet
Anyone interested? If you know of cheaper I would appreciate an answer.
Regards
Rob

any advice gratefully recieved. I thought that the £600 ish figure was good given I assumed importing (like the inserts i did gb on) would have the additional costs?

Simon is good, but like you said, doesnt include vat. I think most of his customers have got through customs without paying vat. If you get caught, you pay the vat. If you dont, you dont
I can get the 3 Defi gaugs (not BF) with link controller for £450 including delivery and vat. Doesnt include pod though. No one seems to have the Defi pod so you can get a replica pod for about £100 so the group buy works out to be around £550 including vat and delivery. You can probably find pods a bit cheaper.

Money I got my Defi pod from Simon, be careful of the replica ones as sometimes the fit is cr@p. After I had mine installed my mate did another car with a replica one and he couldn't believe how bad it was It is worth the extra money to get a proper fit.

Mark,
That would have been my pod! It is a bit on the wonky side but hey the deal we got was quality you have to agree.
So how`s your beast getting along these days? Anymore mad mods going on?
To anyone else I would strongly advise going for the Defi pod as it`s worth the extra cash.
Capita - Deffo go with Simon as he`ll not be beaten on price and it just makes it that little bit more exciting when you get your stuff and there`s no "additonal" charges on it.
Enjoy,
Chris B (organiser of previous defi BF GB).

Are they actual defi distributors as appointed by Defi, or do they deal with Defi distributors?
Capita, they can be had for about £450 including delivery for the 3 gauges and defi controller and all sensors.

I've been quoted these prices and have been told that they would be cheaper if a few sets were ordered.
"Thank you for the email, prices are as follow, all for the BF range.
Boost gauge £149.23
Oil temperature and adaptor £140.80
Oil pressure £173.90
Control unit £72.40
Defi three dial mounting pod £111.63"
The prices include VAT but not postage. Installation would be £240.00 (Firm is based in Sussex.)
