Default Hybrid FMIC Group Buy No. 5.

There are over 80 of these intercoolers in service throughout Europe as a result of previous group buys. The kit contains everything needed to fit the intercooler which has highly polished aluminium end tanks, chromed hard pipes, silicone joiners and reducers with all pipe clips. As existing owners will confirm, this is a quality product.
These are universal intercoolers for classic shape M/Y 93-00. New age intercoolers will be available in the early New Year.
There is information in "Projects" and photographs of the kit, installation and finished article here: www.geocities.com/harveysmith3000.

Price : Not exceeding £575. There may be modest savings subject to exchange rate, fuel surcharge and customs charges.
Deposit : £100.
Balance : £475 or a similar amount. Payable when the kits are in the U.K. and ready to send to your address via next day courier.
Timescale : The G.B. will remain open until 03 November and to be a included your deposit must be paid before that date at which time the order will be placed. Deliveries will commence as of 15th November on receipt of balance payments. Payment of the balance can remain open for some time to suit personal finances.
Regards,
Harvey.

It is proven as far as Scoobies on here are concerned. Build is of a high order. I have not had a Greddy personally but I think they are not bar and plate.
You can see from the photos what it looks like and what the kit consists of.
all the previous GBs were considered successful by the participants.
You could post in Technical /General to get views from others with firsthand experience.

Question

Can the silicone joiners be supplied in red? Colour coordination to match the Samco's is a must

Come on folks cracking bit of kit, one of the reasons (apart from the price) that I'm getting this kit is that having driven my mates wagon with this kit fitted is how well it performs and the overall build quality, the cooler is massive and bomb proof.

Cheers Andy.
The core is 600mm x 300 x 76. Overall that makes it about 650mm at the top and 720mm at the bottom with the highly polished end tanks, excluding the entry and exit pipes.
I have one on my WRX producing around 400 bhp. Some of the other guys may be producing more than me. No idea. I expect if it was on the STi it would be close to 585 bhp. That car has an APS FMIC that cost £1200 plus and I think the Hybrid at less than half the price compares well.
Bob: I have no idea on surface area, volume, pressure drop or efficiency. How is the efficiency measured and what are efficiency ratings for other FMICs? It is not something I have ever come across.
