classic uk spec turbo double din + dashboard questions
Thanks for looking at my thread guys i need quite a bit of help here,
basically I've got a uk spec classic impreza turbo 2000 on a '99 plate, this model as you probably know comes with the single din centre console.
I want to put a double din head unit in and i know its going to be a hell of a lot of work from the little amount of information I've managed to gather.
Has anyone done this conversion before that can help me out with any information?
I know i need to change the heater control, the centre console and obviously the plastic surround but i read somewhere that the import heater control wont work in a uk spec car does anyone know why this is or if there's an easier way about this that I'm not seeing?
Any help would be much appreciated guys..

Basically the Jdm heater works electronically and has a multi plug in the back the uk uses sleeved wire(manual) controls, you would need to change the looms to get it to work, IMO but another head unit and have a lot of hassle lol
