Classic Impreza - Up Pipe
Hi All
I'm pretty new to Subaru & the forum.
Could someone please recommend a good aftermarket up pipe for my RB5.
Revolution in Gateshead have said they can get me a Scorpion up pipe, but before I go with that I wanted to know any alternatives ?
Any advice ?
Thanks in advance.

there are various decent quality ones in terms of material BUT the "Harvey Smith" trick up-pipes we manufacture & supply are the only ones (AFAIK) to offer specifically sized options to suit your turbo/power/spool targets...............
generally very competitive against other offerings price wise being between £156-£165/delivered to UK postcodes including DEI heat-wrapped and 5x new studs.............performance side IMO there is no better
and if your local you can save the postage by collecting from our base just near the "Angel"

I fitted a Harvey uppipe yesterday, I have to say it's transformed the engine. The engine's purring like a kitten now, spool up of the turbo is much faster. They are well made and fit perfectly, I'd definitely recommend it. I have a MY00 classic.
If you are going to fit it yourself, I'd recommend removing the left hand side of the manifold, the old pipe will slide out. Guy from 'AS' told me to remove the turbo, but the removing the manifold worked fine.
You can find the torque settings on here for the nuts. You'll need to remove the downpipe to get at the 2 nuts behind the turbo.

By the way, you'll need gaskets as the pipe only comes with 5 Studs.
