Default bypassing handbrake cable for dvd unit

As above I have been told its possible to do can anyone advise to how. Not wanting to watch as I drive obviously just trying to save the wiring as stereo I habe brought just has a small tail to play with

depends on the unit
google it for your unit

it just goes to ground, the wire you should connect to the handbrake circuit.

Jdm when u say ground what do u mean? Sorry describe like im stupid lol

I found the easiest way to do it is to, connect the handbrake wire to the black earth wire in the same loom you only need a few cm`s so you can do away with the rest, This will then get an earth signal as if the handbrake was on so will work as you drive so passengers can watch

any negative/ground will do as long as its permanent.

Cheers guys all answers massive help. Not another tho lol. How do I find the stereo earth wire. Got about 20 wires coming out of rear of unit

Just take it to an auto electrician before you blow something up lol

negative ground/earth same thing on a car, id ask someone fella as you sound like you havnt done car electrics before no offence.

On my mates pionner unit that doesn't work. You have to connect it through a relay
