Not subaru but weird technical help needed
OK, not a Scooby but still a car and the problems weird so someone might be interested...
The battery in my smart roadster (don't judge me) has been going flat when not used for a few days, so I bought a new battery a few weeks ago.. It was better but still died over Christmas.
Thought I'd jump it tonight and get it going again... But it's grown like a white mould... Not just on the battery clamps which apparently can happen but all over the place on bare metal... Suspension mounts, window wiper motor, steering linkage...
Pics on link...anyone have any idea what the hell is going on...

I'm not sure that it is, before the battery the suspension tops were Def bare metal with a small amount of red rust, I was going to try a rust treatment spray I got on them so I remember looking at them.
All the white pastey goo is new, looks like liquid but is powder, looking it up online I think the car body is somehow being electrified and that's some kind of reaction... Or at least fumes from the battery causing the reaction if it's not electric.. Pretty sure now the battery is the cause but really surprised, it's v odd.
