Default Clocks & Speed Restriction

Ok probably a subject already covered so apologies if this question has been asked more times than you have all filled up

I've just bought a 1995 impreza wrx (import) and the clocks are in mph but the actual speed is without a doubt kph plus I noticed there is a restriction on the speed at 180kph which if I'm right equates to the standard 112mph restriction that's standard on jap cars.

If I buy the ebay plug to resolve the restriction on speed will this also correct the speed on my clocks automatically or is there something else I need to do ?

Really appreciate any advice, tips or general help.

Many Thanks

no not for a 95model you will need the small gearbox coverter that goes on the back of clocks
this is a bargain the converters last for years and the top cablw will come in handy as a spare
