My 94 wrx has another leak:/ first was coming from right rocker gasket so replaced both and it stopped the leak now it's coming from somewhere else:/ do if anybody knows where all the common places are for oil leaks could let me know cheers

 

Crank seal. I know that as mine had one

 

I had one on mine, just left it, took bout 6 months but sealed itself up

 

Big job? If so how much would a garage charge to fix? Thanks

 

Are you sure you didn't run out of oil? Lol

 

Think mine was crank seal, never caused any problems as i change my oil roughly ever 2000 miles, it was only small leak, now stopped

 

My leak is quite big:/

 

What type of oil filter are you using? Some of them had issues,blue ones I think

 

If its coming from the crank it will be dripping on the exhaust, can you smell burning?

 

Yea drops on manifold, thats what mine did lol

 

Had the problem fixed now, it was both my rocker cover gaskets just if anyone was interested, no more leaks and no more burning smells
