Default diagnosing a faulty heater matrix

how do i determine a faulty heater matrix?

i have changed the coolant in my car twice in the last week to try and get rid of the water running noise from behind the dash and its still there.

there is no damp in the footwell and the heaters blow hot so could it be blocked?

cheers guys

will have to remove the intercooler to get access really. either pull the pipes from the bulkhead and join with a bit of pipe or see if you can bend the pipe around from the in and out on ther engine without kinking the pipe. id use a joiner myself. could always flush out the matrix with a hose pipe while the pipes are off.
