Hi,

I just got some genuine sti fog light covers for my MY95 and dont know how to fit them.... they have the metal clips that seem to clip round the actual fog lights but the hole for the bolts are miles away from the bolt hole for the fog lights...

Will i have to remove my fog light if so why do the covers have clips to attach to the fog light...

Any help would be great....

Dan

Did you not get the triangular brackets that fill the gap where
the fog lights were? These screw into the holes from where the fogs were attatched, then the covers screw onto the brackets, job done. Pretty sure there's no fog lights behind the covers(could be wrong though) on STI's! I had the same thought when I bought mine, but I did get the bracket then realised I had to take out the fogs to fit them
If you need a piccie of the bracket in question, I'll gladly post one
Hope this helps?!

In the next few days I will be selling Scoobydoo spotlight covers, that go directly onto the spotlights. They are made of a special mesh material that allow the image to be seen when the lights are off and lets the light shine straight through when they are on.
I only have a picture of the prototype until friday but can e-mail if you are interested in something a bit different and fun. They will cost £14.99 for the pair.

Here ya go.....

The triangular plate fits directly into the holes which hold the fogs in place, ahd then you just attatch the covers from the pertuding thingies. Why you haven't got these brackets is a mystery cos' as far as I know you can't fit them any other way
Hope this helps

Sorry, I haven't got a clue who'll sell them, did a search but
couldn't find any info on them at all I'll get the length of the protruding thingie if it helps. Did you get the covers from TSL, and it does take them a while to answer the emails, better off phoning them or put a "FAO" post on here for Trouser!!

Just done another search on the covers, and came across the TSL website I've never seen before!(unless it's changed recently) And it does say they come with brackets and all fittings, which should be: 2x fog light covers, 2x brackets, 6x screws for fixing the covers to the brackets, and thats the kit you should have!
