My previous car had a tripcomputer, which I still miss after 15 months. On my motorcycle I use a bicycle computer for the same purpose. Bicycle speedo's usually work with reed sensors with 1 turn being about 2 meters. Some types accept speeds upto 270 km/h.

Would it be possible to drive a bicycle computer from the speed signal on the ECU?
Anyone know what kind of signal it is, and how fragile?
