Default Throttle Body Cleaner

My trusty Subaru is a 1994 impreza AWD GL non-turbo.

I am having difficulty finding Throttle_Body_Cleaner in my country.

I need a cleaner to clean my throlle body ,pcv valve and associated intake parts.

Please suggest a known cleaner / carb cleaner or alternative.

Would stripping the Throttle body be better than using a spray?

What would a Subaru mechanic use to do such a clean?

Thank you in advance.

Regards

Bradley

Brake cleaner should do the job.

Wurth sell a very good throttle body / carb cleaner and they have distributors in South Africa.

Brake cleaner would probably be ok if you were cleaning the parts off the car but I wouldn't use it if cleaning in situ.

Thank you for all the info- will contact them in the morning .

Perhaps the autoshops here need to become more aware of these specific products.

Thanks again.
