Default VF35 to TD05 20G - Oil feed Hose

Hi Guys

I can't find a definitive answer on this.... I have a 2003 UK STI with (I believe) a VF35. I have got my hands on a Harvey (RIP) TD05 20G but it came with no oil feed hose/banjo etc. Will I need a different hose/banjo for this turbo or will the hose/banjo from my VF35 be ok?

It has the metal pipe work coming off it but no hoses etc.

Still on the original 2.0ltr engine if that makes any difference.

Thanks for any help

Had the same problem, no one seems to be 100% sure so I got my oil feed hose from Advanced automotives, and banjo bolt from AS performance.
better be safe then sorry lol :-)

Yeah I reckon your right. Happy to spend a few quid on the bits if need be. How much did the hose and bolt cost?

Cheers

Hose was £28 , and bolt (used) with washers was about £5 from Alyn - just to cover the postage :-)
Is your 20g a billet version ? if not , i would suggest you send it to John at http://www.braveheartracingdevelopments.com/
cost £200 to convert it, you will not regret it , and will save you money in a long run if you decide to have it done later on

Cool Ta. Not much, well worth it

No I don't believe it is billet. Got it off a guy on here. Its never been used though. I'm in a bit of a quandary really. It has 8cm housing which I understand will be a bit Laggy on a 2ltr. More suited to the 2.5! I could get it converted to Billet. In doing so, plus the cost of the turbo I may be better off cutting my losses and getting a new billet turbo with 7cm housing and flogging this one!

Although when she drops her guts all over the Tarmac I will likely go the 2.1 stroker route so it may be ok! Sheesh I dunno!

I'm certainly no expert on all of this! Still learning and just going on what I'm reading and researching!

Anyone got any thoughts or advice?

Cheers
