Valve train help needed
Morning all, I need some advice from you valve train experts out there , I'm currently building a 2.1 setup and the bottem end is done (lateral kit in a Cdb) now i've got a set of sti 5/6 heads a full supertech setup, brain crower pulleys and also a set of lateral lp camshafts to be fitted . Now my question is im looking to break 500hp at some point in the futrue, i know the standard cams will do this and the camshafts ive got are very aggressive lp09 inlets and lp05 exhaust which will be over kill . So should i stick will standard camshafts,Bc pulleys and 1 pieces valves and sell the rest ? or fit the lot and get it dialed in perfectly by a tuner on here as he thinks with the right setup it would be a good setup .What the think?

How will you be using the car most of the time has to be your first question to yourself,as the more aggressive cams will move your power band up the rev range,so not really perfect for road use as by the time your true power band comes in with the uprated cams you would of run out of road to truly use it.so once you know how you will be using your car 90% of the time make a decision from that.SJ.
