Default replacement turbo help for VF22

Hi Gents,

the VF22 turbo on my Impreza Type R is worn and has had its day. Ive sold the car pending a replacement turbo being fitted but i can't find for the life of me a replacement VF22 anywhere.
The spec of the car is a 2.5 Cosworth forged engine using a Apexi FC commander ecu so ideally i'd like a VF22 to bolt straight on and its simple.
Ive found a VF30 which by looking through the internet is the closest spec to my VF22. If i was to buy this would it run ok? I know in a perfect world a remap/trim would be best...

Advice appreciated

Thanks Ash

Will definitely need the map checking and adjusting if you replace the turbo with something different.

yeah thats my issue. I really want a VF22 as it'll be like for like but ive been looking for 2 weeks on the net, local scrap yards etc and i cant find one anywhere.

I dont really want to spent 250 on a different model turbo then another 300 or whatever for a remap.
If i was going to be keeping the car at this point it would be bigger turbo, front mount and a remap as it'll make the remap worth while!
