Default 2008 hatch sti PPP

hi there,

im new to this forum and been looking to buy a sti for a while now. i think ive found one 2008 STI with original PPP cert 38k full service history.

i just wanted to know if there is any way to find out if the car has had any piston work done to it?? there is loads of paper work to do with the service history but i cat fond anything for this kind of work?

i think that at 38k there is a good chance it will have had something done, but just wanted to check? is there anything i can look for when checking the car to see if it has faults etc?
any help would be massively appreciated. dont want to but a ****ter!

thanks

I doubt a car with 38k and full history will have had any engine repair work done unless the owner has spent a lot of money simply upgrading it, which can only be a good thing!

If there's no warranty left, then no you won't get any help from Subaru on any fault that occurs.
