crankshaft position sensor
Second problem! I have a new oil pump to fit, but the crankshaft position sensor is stuck in the old one. Having looked at the price of replacements, I NEED TO GET IT OUT
Any ideas?

Something you should be able to sort.
Remove your old pump & then go about getting the sensor out. Be carefull as you know so you dont knacker it but with lube & gentle pursuasion you should do it.
All the best.

Have been squirting it with WD40 and trying to ease it out for 2 days. Plastic top with socket in is now "a bit loose" from seized metal barrel. Levering from underneath could distort the barrel, making things even worse!
