Default Advice on mods

Hi all just want to check a few thing I have just about got myself all the things I need to get my99 classic modded and hoping to get it running about 300bhp

So far I have a vf23 turbo , walbro fuel pump , k&n panel filter ,newage tmic , all decat pipes that I need , getting licenced ecu Friday
I know I need injectors still but does anything else need updating like
Gear box , clutch , ect or will everything else cope at 300bhp
This is just my first time project so not gonna chuck loads of cash at uprating things that can but don't really need it because standard will cope
I have done lots of reading on this and getting mixed views on few things
Many thanks in advance

i would say at 300 bhp the 5 speeder will be fine , i personally wouldn't change the clutch until it needed it,
i'd get a new bov, then work on the brakes / handling ...

there's my 2 cents

Cool I have white line drop links all round and fitted new pads and discs
Thinking a strut brace or 2 might tighten it up a bit more

I have also had the cam belt and pulleys done along with a full service just to make sure they won't go on me lol

Your yellow 440s don't need upgrading, don't fit a vent to air valve. At that power level it would do more harm. Your gearbox will be fine unless you launch loads, 5 speeds can take upto 350 without too many issues. I would swap your plugs to NGK pfr6b's.

I'd go for re-bushing as much as possible with white line bushes, steering rack, and front roll bar re- bushed and fit white line rear anti-roll bar and bushes, also an anti-lift kit and camber bolts front and rear, then a decent fast road geo set up.

That lot will see it feeling completely different.

But defiantly gonna start looking into the handling after the modding
