hi all i've got a v3 sti with a vf23 turbo which needs changing. i've picked up a vf22 to replace it as at some point i want to get a remap and the vf22 will make more power. my question is i'm sure i've read the v3 sti wagon came with the 22 as standard would i be able to pick up a wagon ecu and fit it to run the 22 safely while i sort out money for a remap ?
if i could anybody know what ecu the v3 wagon has ?

Version 3 sti wagon (GF8??) has a 3 plug 1S ECU. Version 3 sti GC8 has a 3 plug 6S ECU. They should in theory be physically interchangeable.
