Default Code 45..Does it matter?

Hi all, i have been on with my wrx wagon *my95 getting it mot prepped and a bit of restoration.. but after going through all the vaccum hoses and cleaning all the sensors iv noticed i get a code 45 on startup (and occasionally on, or after boost).
I have bypassed the boost solenoid with a dawes device and i have an esl chip fitted so do i need to worry about this map sensor, and if so can it be remedied or will it need to be replaced..?

Cheers all, Coddy

IIRC it is a v1.0 board, so you will be running maf based, in which case the MAP sensor is purely used for boost control. As you have bypassed the boost control it doesn't really matter. Early MAP sensors aren't worth much as they only read 1.2bar at max deflection, so if you want to get rid of the CEL, buy one for a few quid and try replacing.
