PFR7B spark plug differences??
Apart from the obvious, what is the difference between regular PFR7B NGK's, and Platinum plugs??
Do the Platinums last longer, or they give a better spark??
Reason I'm dubious, is that I had a heavily modified Vectra a while ago and "upgraded" to Denso Iridium plugs, and they didn't last the normal service length, maybe a 1/3rd, and one lost its tip altogether. Switched back to the standard version of the same plug and no issues, and back to the standard life expectancy.
Will these Platinums be the same, or would I be better off with the standard PFR7B??
Got about 2-3 days to get a set, so am eagerly awaiting your experiences, so I can bypass the marketing hype.

Nah I mean this, there are NGK R in a yellow box.

And these where they are marked as Platinum and in a silver box.

Are you sure both types are Platinum?? Or am I just being a plank??
As every plug I've had in a yellow NGK box has been a normal type, and if its a fancy type its in a different box??

As it says on the box, they're meant for LPG fuelled engines. They probably have a coating on the ferrous metal parts. The basic spec. is the same as the 'normal' PFR7B I used a set in my STi some while back with no issues at all.

Well NGK only list the one type of PFR7B on their website, so as they say in Highlander "There can be only one!!" unless otherwise stated lol.
Why can't they just keep the packaging the same??
