Default Engine start procedure after long term storage

Just looking for some advice for starting engine after car's been sat in garage for nearly 12mths. Have been doing some mods to engine but not started since last Sept - namely remove aircon, oil pressure & temp gauges wired in, replaced inter cooler hoses and updated fuel pump.

From reading various forums I believe its recommended to do the following but any advice greatly received!

Drain & replace fuel

Whip the sparkplugs out, and spray some lube into the cylinders but not sure what to use..?
Petrol?
Normal engine oil?
WD40?

Do I need to do this for the turbo as well?

Turn engine over by hand using crank pulley - assume this should be fairly easy given plugs are out so not fighting compression...but many revolutions and does this actually get any oil moving?

Refit battery

Disconnect crank sensor - then crank engine over with key....but how long do I do this for?

Start engine and bring up to operating temp, checking for leaks.

Appreciate any guidance you guys can give.

Cheers
