After a little help as to which option would be best. Have a 2005 sti which has just had a new et 2.1 striker built and I'm due to pick it up tomorrow. Currently the Ecu is the standard sti with ecutek map on it, but I also have an autronic Ecu that I could fit when the car is ready for mapping (once run in) Which Ecu would give a better finished product? As I've heard about carberry rom but know little about it. As far as I remember the ecutek can only run around 1.4b of boost whereas with the autronic I can run mafless and possibly get more out of the car. With the other mods I'm running on the car I expect it capable of over 450bhp. Thanks guys

 

If you combine the standard ecu with a good boost controller eg Apexi AVC-R, you can run more appropriate boost levels.
