Default Garrett GTX3071R turbo on a 2.0 litre

Anyone using the new Garrett GTX3071R on a 2.0litre engine, preferably Twin Scroll? If so I would appreciate some feedback & maybe dyno plots.
Thanks

Do you think this one below is: (non billet)

Jura
Jura is right, I have many setups of Blouch 1.5XTR and 2.5XTRs on 2.0L engines and they spool really well. Check out Nasioc forums as there are some people are running them on 2.0l and the spool is great.

Hi, I emailed the guys (a while back) at Prospeed Racing in Aussie http://www.prospeedracing.com.au/ about the twinscroll housing and they said they can get it. They even quoted me a really good price too. Give them an email and see if they can get it for you. There might be other places you can source the turbo from, Prospeed Racing are the closest to where I am from that stock these turbos.

Cheers

No worries. Just out of curiosity, which car are you planning to use the turbo on?

Cheers

Great! The 1.5XTR would be an absolute street beast. Blouch makes ScoobyClinic turbos btw, the only difference is the housing I think, SC =7cm^2 and Blouch 8cm^2 and 10cm^2

I was just checking out Prospeed Racings Facebook page and they even do custom GT3071R with blouch billet wheel for rotated setups if you wish to go that way but would be a bit expensive by my guess.

Also, seems like Blouch 1.5XTR can be seen on the Blouch store website. http://www.bptstore.com/Subaru-WRXST...ger_p_130.html

If you want better spool then 1.5XTR, if you want more top end then 2.5XTR.

Ricky,
Many proven options already exist for standard position use imo. The LM range being one of them.

Very true Shaun
I do enjoy the digging around, researching and looking for left field ideas.......but then usually end up doing what I thought of to begin with! lol

Looking for anyone that has used a rotated gtx3071r on a GC8, specifically a Ver5/6 STi. I'm doing a Rotated Gtx3071r kit with custom Fab'd TBE&Manifold. I'm doing this set up regardless, but was just curious to see what kind of #'s have been produced with this set up.
I'll have a Built block, DW300, DW850cc, Meth injection, FMIC, Link g4 extreme, 06 STi 2.5 oil pan, KillerB pick up/Baffle, GM IAT, AEM 3.5 MAP sensor for Speed Density. If I have enough loot I plan on doing Kelford 199-J cams and Valvetrain to compliment the gtx3071r, but that probably won't be until after the Holidays are outta the way.

So if anyone has used this Beast on their GC8, lemme know ur #'s!
