Default 2001 WRX UK300

Hi All,

Just a few questions I have, any info would be greatly appreciated!

1) what power is the 2001 WRX UK300 standard?
2) what is the general consensus for max power on standard internals? 350/350? 350/400? (I know the gearboxes are rubbish and will be changing that soon)
3)is my ecu remapable?

Thanks in advance

tubbytommy has been a little generous with the BHP figures there I think!

Without the optional Prodrive Performance Pack (PPP), it'll be the same as any other WRX of the time - about 215BHP. With PPP (You should have a installation certificate with the documents for the car) it'll be 235BHP on unleaded and 245BHP on super unleaded.

No I think they're 260BHP if they have rally-flaps and a roof scoop

It does have the PPP pack on it and says about it running better on 97 ron etc...

But most importantly... if I wanted to hit 380bhp / 400 Torque, I would need to forge the engine? Will be putting a 6 speed in so Should be no problems there.

Cheers
