Carbon canister. Fuel tank vents vapour\fumes to this.

Ah, nice one guys. I've now searched it and found that I can get rid of it when I fit parallel fuel rails.
Sadly, plugging in the loose pipe hasn't sorted my boost/stalling problem.
Ah well, shall continue searching......

It and blocking the tank vent make sure you drill a hole or you will build pressure in the tank and have fuel delivery issues.
