Hello there, my my99 uk 2000 is playing up , it's running rough on idle and wants to stall when you come to a stop , plus I've noticed the boost is not going over 5psi, now my first thought was boost leak so I removed the intercooler and checked the y pipe and all the boost pipes around the boost solanoid . Can't seem to find a leak anywhere , checked the codes and came up with 22&23 speed sensor & maf sensor , checked the maf and looks new. Not had this scoob for long so don't no wether it's had the work done and just not being reset. I reset the Ecu and still the same , I'm stumped at mo anyone got any ideas ?

Just seen code 22 is knock sensor, would this cause low boost problems. ?

Would be pulling ignition to save the engine ive had the same issue, get a good one not a cheap one and make sure you tighten it to the same angle then reset ecu

I disconnected the boost solanoid from the T piece but is still only getting 5 psi, from previous experiences on other scoobys I assumed with no solanoid and open t piece is like a wide open mbc and should hit masses of boost yet still only 5 psi. Thought limp mode but goes over 4k rpm.And still not showing any new codes after rset.Seriously scratching my head now

Mines went full revs still but kept pulling ignition, check the knock senor is earthed against block and not corroded

Ok so today the boost has tailed off to 4psi and the dump valve has stopped working altogether so now trying to sorce a local dump valve , could this the route of my boost issue possibly ?

I'm no expert but could be the fact your not getting enough boost which is not making the dump function

I see we're your coming from but yesterday the dump valve was working ... Well making a noise anyway and every time it was driven it has got quieter and until it's stopped making any noise at all , the stalling problem was sorted yesterday after I removed the dump valve had a fiddle re fitted a re sealed with gasket sealant on the intercooler , so I no there is defo an issue with it. Wether it's the boost issue coused by it I don't no , ordered a Collins valve , maf sensor & knock sensor bein delivered tomorrow so fingers crossed 1 will do the trick
