Default Whiring noise changes with road speed.

Hi,

2002 WRX with 110k miles on the clock.

getting a whiring noise that would appear to be coming from below the handbrake...
most audible with clutch dipped and moving above 50mph

not knowing much, Im guessing
transfer box.?
Gb Extension.?
propshaft UJ.?
other.??

any good advice on how to diagnose where noise might be coming from?

thank you
Vik
