Just a thought, having mine fitted up today by a main dealer.

What happens to the ECU after it no longer receives the oil temp and pressure signals that were on the original sensors.

The defi's just go to the Defi control unit

Or am I totally wrong and the originals don't to the ECU anyway?

Defi shouldn't replace the oil Temp, just pressure and the Subaru Pressure switch aint worth having.

May as well have no light at all as its as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

I thought the oil temp went in where the old one was though, above the #3 cylinder?

There isn't one above the No.3 AFAIK.

It's just a blanking screw so that your oil doesn't come out. I think it is the stock place that the Subaru gauges are fitted.

Cool, got them fitted up (and they work )
Had them in for over 2 months and only just got round to have them wired up
