Default Will a standard newage "Blob STI" System fit a classic STI for mot

Just wondering whether a standard blobeye sti exhaust system will bolt onto the turbo back of a V5 Classic. Got the chance of borrowing one for the Mot retest retest retest !!!

I know there will be a spare hanger but im not to fussed about that.

Turbo is a Vf28.

Currently has a 3 inch straight threw h&s on it at the moment.

Had a look and couldnt get a definitive answer as to yes or no.

Apoolgies if it's obvious to some

The joining flange at the turbo? Just everything Turbo back. It's only on for a wee while nd wont be used on the road due to the change of exhaust and the map.

Thanks btw

As long as you swap all of it from the turbo back it will fit, I believe it's the length on the downpipe that can vary on different models so a complete system will fit, if a classic fits a blob then why not the other way around, im sure there is a difference with the hangers tho, not sure if one faces the opposite way

It's the hanger that sits a few inches before the back box which does not fit. However you have 2 on the box and one around the mid pipe section. It will be secure.

As said, on the new age STI (with some JDM exceptions) you need the full system from the turbo back to make it fit.

How far will it stick out the back of the car? Enough to look silly or attract attention from the Dibbles?

nothing will stick out if you use the full system off a new-age WRX or STi - just make sure its not a JDM spec t/scroll as no chance of fitting...........
