Default looking for suggestions on stalling problem

Impreza 97/98 fitted with esl maffless .... no iat sensor ..at start up shes fine up untill normal running temperature shes fine but once nice and warm I blip the throttle and she dies...no air leaks very strange changed icv and reset tps ....still the same any suggestions

Idle control valve would be my guess, if you changed it though and know you bought a good one then guess that's out

Well its a used one ..be strange if both were faulty could be I guess I also havent connected the pipes from icv to throttlebody ...are they really needed or can we block em off ...manifold is reversed

You need the pipe from the inlet pipe to the valve for it to work properly.

Hi Richard .yep I have the larger one from icv to inlet on ....its the two small ones that run from icv to throttlebody I dont
