Green filters are a good choice.

running an HKS panel filter in my WRX a couple days now. seems to sharpen up the engine a little but may sell it and switch to cosworth or pipercross as im not sold on the fit of the HKS filters plastic cage, took a little jigging about to get it sitting right.

It's a good bit of kit, without looking i'd say they're £200+ though as well as a £200-500 remap. Then that's where the slippery slope starts..........
OEM panel filter is fine, there is next to no gain from aftermarket panel filters so don't be swayed by the big named ones.
