Default hesitation

Over the past month I seem to have an increasingly bad flat spot or hesitation when I accelerate, gear, throttle position and engine temp dont appear to make any difference.
Car starts and runs perfectly apart from that; and this only happens about 3 times a week now.
I have had misfire faults show in all four cylinders, but the flat spot does not usually cause a fault code to be logged.

any thoughts guys.....?

Thanks jura, unfortunately he is 250mls away, but you are right - it may come to that.
Early days though, I will get the basics checked out this w/e and update.... if anyone can help narrow this down it would be appreciated.

Thanks again.

ats nae so bad then lol, aye the mixed reports are probably the old owner as they were bought over couple years ago and theyre pretty good at helping out if they've time of course, i find they're service better than the old reports on forums, plus they do their own time attack cars they're pretty quick, matt managed 404.1hp out of my top mount too lol id give them a call and just explain they would prob see you as soon as, cheers steve
