Question Rattle on lift off

Hi guys, when blipping the throttle when in neutral just before it settles I get a rattle, coming from beneath the turbo, nothing obvious ie heat shields, any ideas? Thanks gal.

Could be anything, do it with the clutch depressed, could be the release bearing.

Heatshield is also possible, loose exhaust bolts, intercooler bolts, fecked turbo lol

Get underneath and get someone to replicate it for you

Also a good call, the cats disintegrate and eject themselves in some cases, not recommended lol

Try and get a video up to help diagnose, the noise could be travelling up the up pipe and be heard in turbine housing

Is it the first cat just behind the turbine housing i assume? Have narrowed it down to there now i have a extra pair of feet for the throttle lol! Would it defy gravity and break my turbo then? Now worried as have a 300 mile round trip in the morning!

The first cat is below the turbo, does it buzz when holdin revs steady at a certain point? Can the sound be traced to the turbo cartridge?

Noise is at the bottom of the cat where it meets down pipe, no buzzing, sounds like there is a nut bouncing around inside best way of describing!

Standard down pipe noise been there for a few days but got no worse, though when car idles at 800rpm it's constant, normally sits at around 5-600

Sound internal to the exhaust, have you checked the bolt that holds the downpipe on the underside? Personally if it was me i would rip the downpipe off after the journey ( when its cold lol ) and inspect it as i know how annoying rattling can be!
