i have a Impreza GX sport 03 saloon. and been looking everywhere for a backbox but a new cobra is nearly 200 and cant afford that.

just one something to add that nice burble.

I got one here, for me daily runner but never fitted it

 

one of them from ebay? or a cobra i bought a cobra second hand but wont fit must be for the classic.

Looks very nice, been sitting in my garage for few months now, not used it so don't know bout sound, but reason got was same as yourself, wanted quiet deep note

Should do, its not the same as a turbo exhaust i can tell you that, so it won't fit on a Impreza turbo, got turbo back box here looks different. If you want to make 100% sure take a picture of under car back box, buy quiet sure it will fit as thats what i bought it for

 

on listing it says its a 3.5 inch slash cut but picture shows no slash lol. what about the one you bought.
i think it will got straight on like, that cobra one i bought the 3 hangers didn't really match up and was to short and wrong agle but looks the same fit tell you actually try it.

 

Mines the same as one in photo, no slash on the end. To be fair its one of the nicest looking back boxes i've owned.

 

Tried this one i have here, looks like its perfect fit for turbo, but needs adjustment for none turbo, eg bore is to big, so is bracket, can be changed but alot of faff
