Exclamation Scooby turbo problem

Hi, im new to this forum and wanted to ask a question. I am asking this on behalf of my Dad, he owns a 2001 impreza wrx bugeye. Every now and again when he starts his car the turbo does not spin up, he is a mechanic but we are both clueless to why it happens. The car is modified and does eventually need to be re-mapped but we are sure that it is not this. If you need to know anything about the modifications i can tell you and any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks, Justin.

It sounds like maybe a fault putting the ECU into limp mode?

Sounds like your are right, I will put it on the computer, do you think it will show the error ? Also i thought i would say once the car has been turned off and on again it works perfect and it only takes one try every time!
